Sporting Motorcycle ClubThe Sporting Motorcycle Club (SMCC) is a dynamic motorcycle club based in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. The club was formed in March 1932 in Frank Pratt's Motorcycle Store at 2445a Moorabool Street Geelong by motorcycle enthusiasts from the Geelong region and has run continuously since its inception, except for a brief hiatus during WWII.  
In 1962 Clive McAdam allowed the SMCC to use the land at our current site at McAdam Park Haines Rd Barrabool. McAdam Park is now recognised as one of Australia's best motocross tracks and is an icon of motocross in this country. In excess of 7000 spectators an event have filed into the Barrabool circuit during such spectacles as:
- The Trans Tasman Oceania Motocross Challenge 2005 and 2007
- The National Thumper Series 1996-2001 (Awarded best round of the series for 1998 and 2000)
- Barrabool National
- Challenge Ride 4 Kids
- King of Barrabool
- Trial's Rider of the Year (TROY)
- The Annual Otway reliability Trial (First held 17th April 1932)
- Viper (Victorian Vintage Motocross Series)
- The Annual Frank Pratt Memorial Trophy
- The Australian Vintage Motocross Championships
The SMCC currently has 500 plus financial members and offers a wide range of motorcycling activities. These include: Motocross, Otway Trail Riders, Enduro, Trials and MX Vintage.
