St Helens Park is set amidst a natural amphitheatre overlooking Corio Bay. Established some 70 years ago the park offers offers grassy shady trees and grassy hills with a sandy beach offering the ideal place to a place to swim, play and picnic. 

The park is well equiped with fenced playground facilities, bbq, picnic tables and toilet facilities and is the ideal family picnic location overlooking Corio bay. St Helens Park has long been a favourite swimming spot for locals. There is also a nearby boat ramp and extensive car and trailer parking bays which now occupy park of the land reclaimed some 30 years ago. Those interested in fishing can anticipate a catch of whiting, mullet, snapper and other bay fish.
