Point Addis
Point Addis is an unsettled and remote area with spectacular cliff views. At the northern end of the car park there is an outlook. The beach reaches in an arc stretching around towards Belles Beach. To the south of the car park is forty minute walk along the safe swimming beach to any area frequented naturalists. Around the surrounding bushland of Point Addis is the Ironbark Basin Reserve which has a number of walking tracks including an aboriginal cultural walk which offers spectacular scenic views and occassional encouters with wildlife. Amongst the often encountered birdlife is the Rufous Britlebird and Painted Quail. Point Addis is alos a popular surfing and dicing location. There is a picnic ground with toliets, BBQ and limited wheelchair access. |
