Casuarina Cabins provides self-contained accommodation in Nelson Victoria. The cabins are set on 2 acres of bush surroundings and just 400m from the Glenelg River and only 500m from Simson's Landing. Casuarina Cabins is the perfect place to stay for bush walkers, birdwatchers and fisherman. Other facilities include gas BBQ, laundry, and linen hire is available.
In the front garden of the Casuarina Cabins is part of the capstan (turn-table) which, powered by horses, used to draw a punt across the river. The punt was built and operated by Henry Kellet in 1848 and was then, the only way of getting across the river..
