Eastern Beach Rotunda Geelong Historic Buildings
The Rotunda is located in Geelong's Eastern Beach Public Park adjacent to the intersection of Bellarine Street and Ritchie Boulevard. The Eastern Beach Rotunda, built in c 1920, is one of the older components of the Eastern Beach Reserve complex and pre-dates the redevelopment of the area as a seaside recreational reserve. The simple timber structure supports an apparently floating roof, with terracotta shingles, pierced by columns and a flagpole. Under the roof is a ceiling of lining boards above the open seating
